Townsville hospital has undergone major expansions to the endoscopy and Renal units to deliver better patient care. This project has provided extra space for haemodialysis patients with 4x procedure rooms, dedicated decontamination facility, admission area, recovery area, as well as various other support facilities.


This area of the hospital allows for the various endoscopes used to be cleaned and processed within the unit. This job was done in stages under difficult operating conditions with procedures put in place to ensure compliance with all appropriate guidelines.


Waltlec and our subcontractors were appreciative to work with Paynters to complete the electrical package which included fully monitored specialised Medical electrical installation complete with uninterruptible supplies, smart lighting and controls to suit medical procedure rooms, Nurse Assistant installation and communications requirements.
