Waltlec have developed a close working relationship with the team at NQ Eye Specialists over the last few years and valued the opportunity to help with the construction of their new premise. The transformation of the building is stunning.


Waltlec were privileged to work alongside Phoenix Constructions and complete a full electrical and mechanical package.


The mechanical works involved the supply and installation of three Samsung VRF condensing systems with a total of 15 cassettes and fan coil units. Ventilation and exhaust air systems were installed that were interlocked with their associated rooms and the air conditioning system has a centralized controller for automation over the whole system via a touch screen interface.


The electrical component includes the supply and installation of emergency/exit light systems, trendy lighting layout complete with Dali touch switches with preset scenes, body protect system configured to suit all relevant codes and standards and a multitude of power solutions throughout.


As the final part of the project, Waltlec installed a roof mount 30.24kW grid connect solar system to the practice. The system produces on average of 150kWh per day and consists of 90 x 315w solar modules and 1 x 30kW three phase inverter. This significantly reduces the clinics demand on the electricity network as well as a significant monetary savings on the day to day running costs.


This project had a very quick build time due to NQ Eye Specialists vacate date of their old clinic however we are happy to say it was completed on time.
