Waltlec were appreciative to work with Paynter’s to complete the electrical package of the redevelopment project of the Pimlico TAFE in Townsville.


The TAFE features advanced training kitchens, restaurants, a simulated nursing ward, hairdressing and beauty salons with a variety of power solutions. The new expansion has also brought a learning hub as another resource for the 900+ students entering the new and improved facility. It offers students vibrant and engaging general purpose learning spaces and computer laboratories, which are available for corporate use.


The Project includes a full lighting control system, architectural and energy efficient LED lighting, web based power analysis systems for monitoring, 100kW Solar System and all the bells and whistles to make this a state of the art facility.


Waltlec are proud of the finished project and look forward to completing many more projects alongside Paynter’s.
