The Research and Clinical Trials will become the new home for the research ethics team, the medical education support unit and research educators from both the Townsville Hospital and James Cook University.


The project consisted of two zones within the one fit out. The research component consisted of a commercial look administration fit out and the clinical trials area incorporated a medical grade fit out for clinical based trials including consult rooms and procedure rooms.


Waltlec and our subcontractors were honored to work with Paynters to complete the Electrical package which included new power distribution, communications requirements, Dali Smart LED lighting system, smart white boards and nurse call requirements all while not interrupting the day to day business of the Hospital.
